Oppo Find X
After Vivo, Oppo launched a phone which changed the traditional design language of smartphones. It's a neat uni-body smartphone with no bezels. Let's take a look at the smartphone:
The phone looks really outstanding. But where are the cameras? Here Oppo excels as a innovative company like Vivo.
That is really so cool! Apart from this innovative design the smartphone is pretty good in specifications too.
Display: 6.42 inches AMOLED display with resolution of 1080 by 2340 pixels, ~401 ppi, 19.5:9 ratio, ~87% screen to body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Chip-set: Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with Adreno 630.
RAM: 8 GB.
Storage: 128 GB / 256 GB and not expandable.
Cameras: Pop-up Dual 16 MP (f/2.0, 1/2.6", 1.22 micro meter with PDAF and OIS) and 20 MP (f/2.0, 1/2.8", 1 micro meter) rear camera with dual dual-tone LED flash and 25 MP (f/2.0) front camera.
Battery: Non-removable Li-Ion 3730 mAh.
Price: 59990 Rupees.
Let's take a further look now.
Design: Design wise the phone is outstanding as you can see. The all screen design with minimalism looks awesome. The phone is symmetric from every angle, even the OPPO logo is symmetric.
Display: As the display is a AMOLED one, the colours are saturated specially the black one. Besides AMOLED panels saves a lot of batteries as well.
Performance: Oppo Find X sports the best chip-set available on smartphones now, Snapdragon 845 with Adreno 630 GPU and huge 8 GB RAM. With all these and Color OS, the performance is very good.
Cameras: The main design attraction in the smartphone is based on the cameras. There is a motorized camera on Find X which pops out when you need them. But when you are unlocking your phone with Face Unlock will it take time more than usual? The answer is no. The camera is really fast it just pops out in a fraction of seconds and unlocks your phone as the other phones do with fixed cameras. Though it's not as reliable as the Face ID on iPhone X. And it's a matter of concern that how long that motor will last. Though there is some reliability that the motorized pop-up part can survive drop of the phone from a certain height. Sometimes the camera app lags while opening which I hope can be fixed by future updates. The camera is pretty great in taking photos too and is comparable with the Pixel 2.
Battery: The battery is expected to last for a day.
For conclusion Find X is a innovative phone with all the basic. The phone is launched in China and may be launching in India soon.
