I'm listing the top 3 mobiles of the year 2016 in my opinion.

 1. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge:

Display: 5.5 inch bezel less display with 1440×2560 resolution & 534 ppi.
Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
RAM: 4 GB.
Memory: 32 / 64 GB & expandable upto 256 GB.
Camera: Rear camera 12 MP (f / 1.7) & 5 MP (f / 1.7) front camera.
Battery: 3600 mAh

This phone sports the gorgeous curved screen, a great camera, a reliable performance, a waterproof design and overfall a fluid UI. That's the best of this year.

2. LG V20:

Display: 5.7 inch display with 1440×2560 resolution & 531 ppi.
Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
RAM: 4 GB.
Memory: 32 / 64 GB & expandable upto 256 GB.
Camera: Rear camera 16 MP (f / 1.8) + 8 MP RGB camera & 5 MP (f / 1.9) front camera.
Battery: 3200 mAh

Dual cameras at rear, B & O audio support. Mudular type phone and Steady Shot. Those are the reasons the phone is runners-up in my list.

 3. LG G5:



Display: 5.3 inch display with 1440×2560 resolution & 554 ppi.
Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
RAM: 4 GB.
Memory: 32 GB & expandable upto 256 GB.
Camera: Rear camera 16 MP (f / 1.8) + 8 MP RGB camera & 8 MP (f / 2.0) front camera.
Battery: 2800 mAh

A great camera, B & O audio support, Modular type phone (first of 2016). Yes, it's also a great phone.

Every phone launched in 2016 were awesome but these were exceptional as per the applications of innovative technology specially LG V20.

Some honorable mentions are htc 10, Apple iPhone 7 Plus, Moto Z Force (a great modular type phone), Google Pixel XL, Sony Xperia XZ.
