Xiaomi Redmi 4

Xiaomi launched the Redmi 4 in India in 3 versions. But they doesn't named it as Redmi 4, 4A & 4 Prime as in China. Let go through the specifications first.

Redmi 4

Display: 5.0 inch Full HD display with 720×1080 resolution (296 ppi).
SOC: Qualcomm Snapdragon 435.
RAM: 2/3/4 GB.
Memory: 16/32/64 GB internal & expandable upto 128 GB.
Camera: 13 MP rear camera (f/2.0) & 5 MP front camera (f/2.0).
Battery: 4100 mAh.
Price: ₹6999 (2 GB RAM version), ₹8999 (3 GB RAM version) & ₹10999 (4 GB RAM version).

Design: Redmi 4 improved from it's predecessor in about every aspect as well as design department. The edges now taper more to give you a nice grip. The speakers are at buttom which I think better than placing it on back. There is a fingerprint sensor on back which I think is the best place for a fingerprint. And last but not the least a 2.5D curved front panel. So, overall Redmi 4 is more premium looking metal finish device than Redmi 3.

Performance: Redmi 4 sports the Snapdragon 435 SOC which is more energy efficient SOC than it's predecessor. Along with 2/3/4 GB of RAM you can expect great performance from Redmi 4 according to it's price.

Camera: For camera department it's a 13 MP rear camera with PDAF, means a blazing fast 0.3 s focus time. A five element lens & low light enhancement is also there. For 5 MP front camera it's a good one as well.

Battery: Redmi is famous for it's power packed batteries. No exception for Redmi 4 also. Redmi 4 sports a massive 4100 mAh battery. They are claiming that the phone will stay two days with heavy duty usage.

Redmi 4 will be available in 2 colours, Gorgeous Black & Elegant Gold.

For the conclusion Redmi 4 is the best device in it's price. You definitely buy one for you if you're willing.

The phone will be available from May 20 on mi.com in India. You can prebook now.
