Meizu launched their new flagship. Where Samsung, LG, HTC like companies launch their flagships at much higher price, there OnePlus, Xiaomi, Meizu like companies launch their flagships at much lower price without compromising on quality. Pro 6 Plus is not exception, it's a quality flagship at much lower price.

Meizu Pro 6 Plus

Display: 5.7 inch 4K display with 1440×2560 resolution (515 ppi).
SOC: Samsung Exynos 8890.
RAM: 4 GB.
Memory: 64/128 GB internal & not expandable.
Camera: 12 MP rear camera (f/2.0 with 4-axis OIS) & 5 MP front camera (f/2.0).
Battery: 3400 mAh.
Price: ₹29999 for 64 GB version & ₹31999 for 128 GB version.

Design: Where the main focus of other Chinese manufacturers is on specifications, there Meizu focusses on primiumness. When you see Meizu Pro 6 Plus, you will realise how precisely it's built. Details is everywhere, from power button to the 10 LED dual tone flash. They used softer metal than the metals used in other phones. Meizu said that the processing of Pro 6 Plus includes 30 steps and takes 150 h. In a word the design of Meizu Pro 6 Plus is incredible.

Display: The Super Amoled 4K display really looks so good. Colours are crisp, contrast is great & watching movies is a pleasure in the large 5.7 inch display. Though sunlight readability is not that much good. Generally the display is one of the best at the price.

Performance: Pro 6 Plus is powered by Samsung Exynos 8890. Some Samsung Galaxy S7 devices shifted with this processor last year. It's similar to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SOC. Along with 4 GB of RAM, Pro 6 Plus is quite snapy in day to day performance.

Camera: The Pro 6 Plus sports a Sony IMX386 camera of 12 MP along with 4 axis OIS, laser autofocus & 10 LED dual tone flash. Photos are really great in daylight. In low light it's average according to it's price, some noise is there & colours are washed out sometimes. For the selfie camera, it's quiet good & the inbuilt beauty mode does not over expose it. Videos taken with the phone is quite good. But the OIS looks some bit weak on Pro 6 Plus. Overall Pro 6 Plus sports a great normal uses camera.

Battery: Pro 6 Plus sports a 3400 mAh battery which is great. The main factor that the battery on Pro 6 Plus remains for a long time is the optimisation that Meizu done with Flyme UI 6.0. The battery support 60W fast charging of mCharge as well. It's allows Pro 6 Plus to get charged by 50% in 30 minutes & fully charged in 1 h.

Special Features: Meizu Pro 6 Plus has some special features, though not that much world changing but some useful ones.

1. mTouch: It's a great feature that every Meizu phone sports. You use the Home button as Home key, Back key & the Fingerprint Reader as well. You have to touch to back and press it to go Home. It's a really great feature that I like the most.

2. 3D Touch: Yes, Meizu Pro 6 Plus sports 3D Touch as the iPhone. The previous version of Pro 6 also supported that. But this is limited to the system apps of the Flyme UI.

3. Flyme UI: I think it's the reason that you should buy a Meizu phone. Flyme is probably the best custom ROM out there. When you look at the UI, you realise that every thing is well thought. Flyme sports many great features.

1. It learns every time when you use it. It automatically loads apps to RAM analysing your activity to deliver a smooth experience.

2. There are two types of notification shade for important & not important notifications which is great as you doesn't get distracted.

3. There is some great security features. Like when you are in a payment page, Flyme restricts other apps to read the screen & non-touch activities are disabled.

4. There is also a built in Wi-Fi security scanner.

There are many other useful features on Flyme.

4. UFS Internal Memory: The Pro 6 Plus sports the blazing fast UFS memory. That's why they didn't allowed microSD expansion in the phone not to comprise on device's smooth experience.

Overall, the Meizu Pro 6 Plus is really a great phone which stands out from the crowd with it's primiumness. Yes, you can buy one for you when it's launched in India.
