Redmi Note 4
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 4 today in New Delhi. The phone is just a small upgrade over the previous Note 3.
Let's go through the specifications.
Display: 5.5 inch Full HD display with 1080×1920 resolution.
Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 625.
RAM: 2/3/4 GB.
Memory: 32/64 GB internal.
Camera: 13 MP rear camera (f/2.0) & 5 MP front camera.
Battery: 4100 mAh.
Looking at the specifications it seems that it just a upgrade. But it's relavent. Because Xiaomi is focusing to sell it's phones offline rather than selling those only online. They will start this step in China first, then globally as well as India.
The main upgrades in Redmi 4 are:
1. The 2.5D display which looks great.
2. Snapdragon 625 over 650, so you get extra two cores, means a octacore CPU over a decacore one. But somebody thinking it's a downgrade as Snapdragon 650 is more powerful. But no doubt the 14 nm 625 is energy efficient & has better optimisation.
3. It's the design, Redmi is more good looking now. Speakers are in buttom which is great, because sounds will not get muffled now when you will place you Redmi Note on surfaces upwardly.
The rest are the same as Redmi 3, but overall Redmi 4 is ofcourse better. But if you have Redmi 3, there's not much necessity to upgrade, but ofcourse you can upgrade if you wish.
That's it, Redmi 4 launched today & Redmi fans get it.
