Facebook launched a lot of things on F8. Listing the most attractive launches for a general user like me.

Augmented Reality Camera Effect Platform


Facebook will be adding this feature by which you can wear a 3D mask or add 3D objects to picture while taking it. Facebook made this feature open for developers creating a platform. So, when the feature will be available, there will be a lot of effects there.

Frame Studio


You will able to add 2D filters to your picture in Facebook camera when the feature will be available. There will be no need to know coding to upload a design for an overlaid graphic.

 Messenger Group Bots


Messenger Bots now can be used in group chatting. So, it became easier to book a ticket for a sports game or a flight by collaboration.

Messenger Bot Discovery


By this tab in your messenger app you can discover bots by the tabs recently used, categories, trending & searching. You can see a preview of a bot as well before using it. And all of the bots have AI feature, means they will learn by smart replies about FAQs.

 Messenger Games Tab


Messenger's instant games now have their own tabs. So, now you can challenge your friends in a games instead of just creating high score by yourself.

Delegated Account Recovery


If you forgot the password of a website which uses Delegated Account Recovery, you can recover the password by signing in to your Facebook account.

Facebook Spaces in Facebook VR


It's a great thing. With Facebook Space you along with your 3 friends can enjoy a virtual room chatting, drawing, watching 360° videos, making messenger video calls, taking VR selfies. You & your friends will appear as a cartoon avater there based on your recent photos. It's only available for Oculus Rift VR Headset & Oculus Touch Controllers for now. But it'll be available for other VR devices soon.

So, those were awesome in Facebook F8. Specially, Augmented Reality Camera Effect Platform, Delegated Account Recovery & Facebook Spaces in Facebook VR.

Now let's go for a fun part. Snapchat trolled Facebook (Copy Cat) for copying their Augmented Reality Camera Effect. But Mark replied that it's just the step one, Facebook is trying to make a platform for Augmented Reality Camera Effects by making it open-source.

That's a really great initiative by Facebook, almost everything they launched were open-source & as you know F8 is for developers.
