Micromax was a great company some years ago, it was just behind the TechGiant Samsung in India in terms of sells. But now it's out of top 5. But Micromax is trying to come back with it's new flagship Dual 5.

Design & Display: Micromax did a great job with Dual 5 in terms of design. The phone looks great with the metal finish. It's feels great to hold the phone in hands. The 2.5D glass on top looks really nice. The edges tapers so nicely that it really so easy to hold the 5.5 inch phone. Display colour & contrast Dual 5's display is the most vibrant one in this price bracket. Thanks to Super AMOLED™ display. So, Dual 5 has a great design & display you can get in that price.


Performance: With the Snapdragon™ 652 chipset & 4 GB of RAM, Dual 5 is a great performer. Day to day tasks are a breeze. The phone also handles games like Asphalt 8™, Dead Trigger 2™ nicely, no frame drop issue is there. For performance it's a great phone, no issues.

Camera: 13+13 MP dual rear cameras is the best specification of the phone. The camera takes really outstanding pictures in both well light & low light conditions. The colour reproduction is outstanding. The 13 MP front camera is also great.


Battery: The only small problem with the phone may be battery. Although it will last at least 10 h for moderate use. But it may be an issue. But it has QuickCharge™ 3.0.

Special Features:

1. There is a third key with the volume keys on the left side of the phone. They named it SmartKey™. So, you can control the key by SmartKey™ App to do specific operations when you press it.

2. Micromax Dual 5 possesses a large 128 GB internal memory which is a great thing.

For conclusion, Dual 5 is a great phone. The design, cameras & 128 GB Internal memory is really interesting. Specially cameras are really great.


Ofcourse you can buy one for you when it's launched in India.
