LG G6

LG launched their flagship G6 in MWC 2017. Like G5, it is a really outstanding phone. Let's take a brief look first.


Display: 5.7 inch Full HD display with 1440×2880 resolution (564 ppi) & Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
SOC: Qualcomm Snapdragon 821.
RAM: 4 GB.
Memory: 32/64 GB internal & expandable upto 256 GB.
Camera: 13 MP dual rear camera (f/1.7 with 3-axis OIS & f/2.4) & 5 MP front camera (f/2.2).
Battery: 3300 mAh.
Price: ~₹49999

 Design: By design LG G6 is one of my favorites. A full metal unibody design looks really great. Fingerprint sensor on back & speakers in buttom (the best place I think). The front view of the phone is also pretty good. So, it's a pretty good phone on design.

Performance: G6 is backed by Snapdragon 821 SOC. This is not the latest SOC from Qualcomm™, but it's pretty good enough. Adreno 530 GPU & 4 GB of RAM, this phone is pretty good in performance.

 Camera: One of the main attraction about this phone is it's camera. Dual 13 MP rear cameras are really special. One of them sports a f/1.7 apperture with 3-axis OIS & other sports a f/2.4 apperture. They do a great job together. They can take a shot at 125° wide. You can take Snap Shot (Review the past & preview the next shot), Grid Shot, Guide Shot & Match Shot with the G6. The front facing 5 MP camera is also pretty great. It can take a shot 100° wide. So, if you are taking a Groufie with lot of your friends, G6 will capture them all with no issues. G6 sports HDR10™ as well to capture the most natural colour possible. For video shooting there is DolbyVision™ which works greatly.

Battery: A 3300 mAh battery will last for a day no doubt. There is QuickCharge™ 3.0 by USB Type-C port, means 50% of charge in just 30 minutes. G6 sports Vulkan™ as well which will save your battery smartly while you are playing games.

 G6 is also IP68 certified, means waterproof at 1.5 m underwater for 30 minutes. There is AOP mics as well which means the sounds you record by the phone is just awesome. And the new GoogleAssistant™ is there which is great.

 For conclusion G6 is a high end flagship which is great on camera & sound. If you want to buy one for you, ofcourse you can buy.

Xiaomi has brought dual rear cameras at a pocket friendly price with the Redmi 6. It's basically the Redmi 6A, but better than the 6A in some aspects. Let's go through the specifications first. Xiaomi launched their new budget phone Redmi 6A in India. The phone seems to be very promising in a reasonable price. Let's go through the specifications first. Display: 5.45 inch IPS LCD display with 720×1440 resolution (18:9). Chip-set: Quad-core MediaTek® Helio© A22. Variants: 16 GB ROM with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM with 3 GB RAM. microSD Card Support: Supports up-to 256 GB. Cameras: 13 MP (f/2.2) rear camera and 5 MP (f/2.2) front camera.
