Flexible display was a small sound in the display industry, but Plastic OLED going to be a roar. The technology will use polyamide to make the panels. Wait, why is this better? Because,

1. Using a thin plastic as a display panel saves a space in the smartphone to make the battery bigger or attach some extra parts.
2. This'll inspire smartphone manufacturers to make truly bendable smartphones.


Samsung & LG, the masters of such job already invested 3 billion (Samsung) & 9 billion (LG) to change the industry. Samsung Galaxy S7 & Apple Watch are the only two products to join this revolution for now. But the revolution will expand farther. This can effect the television industry also. The 4K OLED televisions can become cheaper for this which can help the technology to be 'made for everyone'. But it'll take some time. For now it's just waiting.
